I can't believe I just found out you have a UA-cam channel! I've been listening to your stuff since I was a freshman in 2009, I'm 30 now and still listening. My 18 month old son loves Marianas Trench and it's my favorite to scream along to when I practice my extreme vocals. The Christmas album is the greatest (although not all of my older coworkers agree when I play it at my desk every holiday season lol) God bless you and thank you for providing such great content through your music and this channel! I'm so glad to see all of these bands putting out new music in the past 2-4 years, there's a pretty big resurgence and it's taking back to high school.

Like how the fuck do you not care what I just went through?!

I'm very glad that he is doing these reactions. Jake and A.B.R. are the pioneers of my taste for metalcore, and he is one of the greatest and most iconic voices in the industry. Their first two albums have saved me from depression more than once. It's really cool to see him reaction and enjoying newer generation of bands on the horizon. Alex loves what he does and is very passionate about it. I'd love to see you reaction to some of his one takes! (i.e. Viking or Lorna Shore cover)

I feel asleep the other night listening to the EP (i'm weird it's relaxing to sleep to metal) but I woke up at around 6:14, sweating and had nightmares. that end piano part was scary af to wake up to it was so trippy.

People are gonna rip on me for this, and yes i know music is subjective but.....I hate this shit. Too many bands are abandoning the "riff". Between this weird "thall" sound or whatever the kiddies are calling this stuff, and even today's metalcore seems like it's regressed back to the nu metal days in terms of technicality. Riffs went out the window. It's all about downtuning the fuck out of things and simply chugging with the occasional dissonant harmonic....I can't stand it. Theres no hook! Maybe I'm just getting old, but I miss the glory days of metalcore. As I lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, ABR, etc...Yeah I know these bands are all still putting out music, but I think more of these newer bands need to draw inspiration from that blueprint. Make metal musical again!
